This brand book was an assignment for my Graphic Design II class at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. We were challenged with picking a museum, or historic site, and redesigning the logo and branding for them. I selected the Lizzie Borden House, and redesigned the logo by creating an axe with an LB in it for Lizzie Borden. I made it look sketchy to create a horror feel to it, and selected an Old Typewriter font to further convey this. The Lizzie Borden House is based on the true story of the murders of Lizzie Borden's parents, so through my brand book I included "blood splatters" on the pages to relate to the story of this house.
